What Level of Player Do You Cater To?

I have Group Lessons for Absolute Beginners that I run on a regular basis, check the Schedule of Events page to see when the next one starts
The Workshop Series is suitable for:
Anyone who has attended my Beginner Group or Individual Lessons
Confident Beginner - This player knows a handful of chords and can move from one chord to another without pausing. Has developed a strum or two.
Intermediate & Advanced - At this level, you can hold a steady rhythm and can play a variety of basic chords (for example: A, Am, B7, C, C7, D, Dm, E, Em, G, and G7).
Private Lessons - I do not give regularly schedule private lessons, but do offer "one-off" lessons for any level of ukulele player who may need some help through an area of their playing, or where they may want to move on and explore other facets of ukulele playing
How do I pay for a Workshop, Private or Group Lesson?
Once you have sent me an email to register, I will reply and give you options and instructions to pay by either e-transfer, credit card via PayPal or by mailing a cheque
Gift Certificates are also available if you would like to purchase a single of package of lessons as a birthday, anniversary or Christmas present for someone. Email me for details at: [email protected]
What do I need to bring to a Beginners Group Lesson?
A pencil or pen and some paper to take notes. A ukulele, a smile and a willingness to have fun.
What do I need to bring to a Workshop?
A pen or pencil to take notes, your ukulele, a smile and a music stand.
What if I live too far from Parksville to attend your workshops ?
If you have a ukulele group somewhere on Vancouver Island, surrounding Islands or Lower Mainland and would like me to bring my workshop to you, please email me and we can discuss how to make that happen.
What are your terms and conditions?
Pre-registration and prepayment are required for all Group Lessons and Workshops. No refund will generally be given if you cancel a workshop less than seven days before it is due to take place
What if I don't have a Ukulele ?
If you don't have a ukulele and can't borrow one from a friend, you can rent one from Long & McQuade or, contact me and I can give you pointers on what to look for in your instrument purchase
